A friend of mine just interviewed with a subsidiary of the Advisory Board Company, but it is technically in Vernon Hills. He seemed pretty impressed. They are doing quite a bit of hiring. However, I have heard mixed things about them. Although, it seems like on the research side they are pretty good with intelligent folks who went to great schools--they just hire a lot of "marketing" (sales) people too.
