Breaking In - Graduated undergrad in 2011 with a degree in finance and economics

I graduated undergrad in 2011 with a degree in finance, and economics....i've been in an equity research role for a while and really want to make a switch to management consulting...specifically in a strategy/operations capacity...

any tips for how to break in? i seem to be having trouble even finding entry-level consulting roles to apply to?

Would really appreciate some guidance here....thanks all!
