Canadians know this: College before University

In Canada a college provides the student with a diploma, and a university provides the student with a degree.

With that being said; if you were a consulting hopeful and went to college first and then went to university after and are now beginning to apply to consulting firms would you put the diploma on your resume?

3 year program in Business (dabbled in everything Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Sales, Strategy, Entreprenuership etc.) got me a nice paying analyst gig in the gov' but I want to be an MC and its time to upgrade

Seneca to WSO. You don't see that everyday.

Just include your university graduation year on your resume and exclude the college fluff. You can always say that you completed an enriched high school curriculum and attained transfer credits for your courses. Also, get creative and back it up with a compelling story as to why you were never attended a university for three years.

This.

Not sure if people would warm up to the idea of someone who did 'college' first (as there's stigma about people going to college instead of university directly). So try to just include the university info on its own.

wallstreetballaNo chance in hell a college grad will land a spot in a bank or any where on bay street for that matter unless you got some serious connections up your sleeve....

OP's going to University now.

I think the only concern would be age, because you'd be older than your graduating peers. I would put college on but I would make sure I have a good story for it and give a good reason for not going straight to uni.
