Capital One BA vs. PwC Management Consulting

Hi, would love to hear your thoughts on these options for a summer intern.

I was lucky enough to receive internship offers at Capital One for the business analyst position and PwC for management consulting. They seem pretty comparable, both MCOL, but I'm more concerned about growth, FT recruiting, etc. From what I've found, it seems C1 pays more out of UG but the progression is slower while PwC has a stronger brand name and progresses faster while paying less immediately. I would love to hear any thoughts or advice, thank you all!

Is it Strategy & or just regular PwC? If it is the latter, Capital One 100%

- better WLB
- better starting pay
- more unique experience, given how many people work at Big 4
- tech exits for FT
- great for re recruiting for MBB — look on Linkedin, lots of former C1 BA interns (including myself) have gone to MBB

I see, the offer is for Management Consulting not S&

I had similar thoughts, but wouldn't PwC outpace C1 pretty quickly with the consulting progression/growth? Any thoughts about having the PwC name (and consulting experience) for tech strategy & MBB recruiting for FT

Actually just did the PwC to MBB route myself and had friends do Cap1 route. Would say either works just honestly need to get good experiences this summer and meaningful bullet points on the resume.

For progression it’s about the overall same but they rank about the same IMO at the end of the day. Just take what people you liked more in case, can always recruit for the other again FT if you don’t enjoy one or recruit MBB
