Based on the most helpful WSO content, there is no specific information provided about Dean & Company in the context. However, here are some general insights on how to approach evaluating a firm's entry-level compensation and company culture:

  1. Compensation:

    • Look for reviews on platforms like Glassdoor or Payscale to get an idea of the salary range for entry-level positions.
    • Reach out to alumni or current employees through LinkedIn to ask about their compensation packages.

Yes. I know a lot. Please DM me.

the broad view is:

they are much, much smaller than they appear on Handshake. They are only 12-17 consultants. Dean & Co shares office space with 4-6 other companies all owned partially or wholly by Dean. The others are DC Energy (very very very successful energy prop trading firm), DC Investment and DC Investment Partners (invests deans and the firms money), and a few others.

Not sure why my comment was removed.

It's a smaller firm than they market themselves as. It's actually about 15 people but is owned by a billionaire who runs 3-4 other companies and they all share the same office space and social events after work, etc. The work is supposedly highly analytical, and the main projects are TMT, PE, and financials (banking and payments) although they do other stuff too like industrials, pricing, etc.

Culture is 4-5 days in the office a week out of Tysons VA.

had a first round here and got cut after - the cases are aids quite literally worse than any MBB interview i’ve had
