Deloitte S&O vs A.T. Kearney
Currently an undergrad considering offers at Deloitte S&O and A.T. Kearney. Anyone have any insight into either? There are a few major factors I'm considering:
1) Location - Deloitte is in Pittsburgh which is a major negative while A.T. Kearney is in NYC.
2) Projects - I've heard that A.T. Kearney has a reputation as more of a supply chain company, I'm a little bit concerned about being stuck on supply chain/procurement projects. Employees there say that I should have no problem getting on a variety of projects.
3) Exit opps - The two have comparable exits to top MBA schools, but what about to industry? Deloitte seems to have the bigger brand, I'm not as familiar with ATK's exits.

Where was the chemistry with the people better and what city do you want to live in? /thread
ATK straddles some pure strategy along with a large swath of supply chain / process work. Anecdotally from my experience, ATK tends to have a more collegial work atmosphere, Deloitte, particularly at the pre-MBA level is a bit of a mixed bag. Given that this is ATK NY vs S&O Pittsburg, I'd go with ATK.
Deloitte is considerably better then ATK at this point in time. Deloitte is the easy choice. ATK will likely be bought out in a few years.
ATK you might become stuck in one area. Deloitte you'll have more opportunity to work on a variety of projects (something that can be both positive or negative)
Pittsburgh sucks compared to NYC. Plus, as a generalist at ATK you won't "get stuck on supply chain/procurement projects" since they'll want you to gain exposure to a variety of functional areas.
ATK unless you really preferred the Deloitte people based on your interactions with them.
