Does the west coast recruit at Wharton?
Do west coast consulting firms, hedge funds and private equity firms come to Wharton at recruiting time (Philadelphia Wharton obviously)?

I interviewed with a PWM boutique based in SF and a PE firm based in Menlo Park (or was it Palo Alto?) when I was a senior...
Oh also, an ibank with an office in LA, and another bank that had an office in SF (MM banks, not BB).
If you really want west coast, you should be able to get it.

You can always have your first round with the firms recruiting at Wharton and ask if you can be located at their West coast offices
