End of internship thank you gifts
At the end of a virtual consulting internship, should I be getting my managers / MD gifts or is sending email thank you notes the best practice?

thank you emails are sufficient
ive never done this but perhaps hand written thank you notes (at least to hiring manager) can help set you apart. although if you did a good job during the internship you have nothing to worry about

it’s not appropriate to give a gift as an intern. Well worded thankyou email is perfect.
Nice $35-50 bottle of wine, what I did and I think it was appreciated. Maybe find something that is special or in some way connected to the person i.e. from Spain a Spanish bottle, from California something from napa
