Experienced Hire - GPA on Resume Question

Hi all,

I am preparing for a switch from industry to consulting in the next 2-5 months. I'm not finding great information here or on Google regarding including my undergrad GPA on my resume when sending out to contacts in my network for internal referrals. I am eyeing a move to Deloitte's S&O or similar practices and am not considering MBB.

According to nearly everyone here, my UG GPA was low (3.29 that I will be rounding to 3.3/4.0). I should still include this on my resume, correct? Essentially I'm asking if I run the risk of being automatically dinged if this is included vs not including my GPA and risking assumptions of an even lower GPA.

I have ~2.5 years of meaningful work experience in corporate finance. 2 of these years in F100 FLDP at a LARGE pharma company that you've heard of with a promotion out of the program into a full-time spot. Have worked in Chicago, Montreal, and am currently based in NYC with same company during this time.

I have a dual degree in Finance and Management (two majors here: Marketing and Entrepreneurship) from a top-ranked B10 school. I also studied abroad in Europe for a semester.

Would love to hear from some experienced hires or people in the know as to if GPA should remain on the resume. I'm hoping that resume reviewers at these firms will pick up on the fact that I've completed course work for three business majors while securing dual degrees at a non-Ivy target school (weak target for MBB mind you), have had solid work experience, and won't weigh the GPA as heavily as my OCR mind still assumes they will.

Thanks

Deloitte says don't include if you're below 3.2 so you're fine on that front (even though, yeah, 3.5 is ideal).

Most important thing is to do your due diligence in networking. It's an important part of Deloitte's culture/staffing model. Definitely don't slack on that part; plus, it'll lead to a more concrete/relevant answer for your resume question.
