How difficult is it to get MBB from Cornell?

Incoming freshman in CAS interested in consulting and am looking to see what the scene is like at my future school.

From some searching on this forum it seems Cornell is generally considered a semi-target for MBB with OCR only from Mckinsey which occurred pretty recently, but I'm not sure what it's like for BB. From LinkedIn searching it also seems most placements are from Dyson or ILR students, so does college/major factor into this? I'm a prospective gov major w/ business minor.

Additionally wondering if it's very doable to get T2 and corp strategy at F500 from Cornell with effort/no one who tries ends up striking out. Thanks!
