Identifying Acquisition Targets
Hi all, I'm trying to learn more about M&A from a strategic/management consultancy lens (as opposed to a banking/financial one.) Specifically, understanding different strategies and criteria that are implemented in order to identify acquisition targets. Could anyone recommend any resources: books, vids, etc that could be useful for this? Asking for a case competition I'm taking part in with a pretty tight timeline: they just announced the case, which is entirely focused around pursuing a strategic acquisition.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone?
M&A outlook episodes on the Goldman Sachs podcast discusses this. The most recent one had pretty good insights on acquisitions such as ESG for good PR or the trend of tech acquisitions by companies to adapt.
This is something I am interested in as well so let me know if you find anything.
