I have been pursuing lab work for other classes but realized that I should probably not waste time and pursue an internship this summer in banking or consulting. What programs are still available? You're pretty close to being SOL at this point. Maybe a few boutique firms are still willing to take on unpaid interns, and startups are often looking for cheap/free labor, but there's not a whole lot left.
Hey Rosario, probably too late to get a brand name consulting or banking internship but don't sweat it since those usually aren't open to sophomores anyway. I would recommend looking at any boutiques in your area, checking your career services, and reaching out to any family friends ("business" in general is fine, doesn't need to be ib or consulting). Since you have a 3.8 at a top school I would focus more about what you get out of your internship once you're there. If you see an opportunity to take on more responsibility definitely take it.
Real estate companies are still hiring interns, if you have any interest at all. Now is like prime time for non-flagship firms
