Is LSE UG a second target in MBB consulting after Oxbridge UG?
Like if you had to divide the analyst and internships class, how would you divide it in universities?
{My guess- Oxbridge 60% (30-30 each) LSE 17.5% Imperial 12.5% UCL 2.5% Other 5%}
Also, how much does my major matter, I know it does less than the University pedigree but if there is a Geography major from Cambridge and an Economics major from LSE up for the role given that other factors remain the same, isn't the latter more preferable?
I think it varies between companies. The BCG cv screen has been out for a while and judging from that Oxbridge, LSE and imperial are top targets but from what I hear Bain is still pretty Oxbridge centric.
grain of salt; I don’t give a shit about MBB but this is what I’ve heard.
