Is my path destining me to F-Boy status?

I am a current second year M&A attorney at a large law firm. I attended at t25 law school and have degrees in economics and marketing from a good state U. I have had my fill of biglaw and want to make a career move.

I was recently offered a Transfer Pricing position at a Big 4 (PwC/Deloitte) and would come in as a Senior Associate. I am 29 and would eventually like to transition into more of a business position (IB, PE, consulting). Does TP pigeonhole me to tax/TP? I am CPA eligibile.

Before anyone goes in on me, I understand that TP is not a bad gig but I have other options as well and want to get a feel on the industry outlook. I tried to break into TAS but had no luck due to not being CPA credentialed/no audit experience.

I am looking for some strong feedback/advice.
