Possible im missing additional context but…do that in May, June, and July? Plenty of time to travel, visit friends, explore new city you are moving to, etc.

If you have obligations running up until an August start, then it’s a personal preference. Personally wouldn’t trade ensuring a good start at first real job. Especially when consulting lets you take breaks (PTO is super acceptable between projects)

 

It’s a t2 firm known for long hours… would they be having Difficulty staffing, new hires? Wouldn’t it be an industry wide thing? I just feel like I have a few extra months guaranteed break that I’m gonna be foregoing, but maybe I need to… I don’t know… I might even be bored.
