London Consulting Internship Summer 22
Hey everyone,
I am looking for recommendations for consulting internships in London and at where I have realistic chances to get into. I know a lot about what consulting companies are looking for in Germany, but wonder if it's the same for London / UK in general. My grades are 2:1 (almost first class), got 3 months of consulting internship, 2 months at a Berlin start up and 6 more months in big 4 auditing. My aim is to get into Simon Kucher, since pricing is what really interests me the most. Anyone here who can supply some valuable information and tips for applications for the UK, maybe even someone form Germany who knows where German applications might differ from UK applications - or is it all the same?

I dont know much about Germany, but can share about London as I've been through them.
Timeline wise - internships application deadlines are usually late jan - feb. Usually extremely strict on being a penultimate year student. Final years usually can't apply for internships. They'd be asked to apply for the fulltime role.
Usually a lot of intern/grad hires come from UK universities.
Experience is really not necessary at all, many offers go out to people who dont have much internship experience but nailed the case and fit interview.
Not sure about Simon Kucher. I go to a target uni but they dont seem to be very aggressive with campus recruiting here. Not much talk about them amongst consulting societies as well. Worth dropping an email to recruitment or reaching out to current consultants that joined recently.
