Looking For A Bainee

Is there anyone here who is working at/has worked at Bain & Co and/or Bain Capital? (Someone from London would be especially helpful).

I landed an interview with the company for a full time role starting next year. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about the company via PM (don't worry I will not ask what the interview questions are lol).

You can remain anonymous of course.

Thanks

Which one did you get an interview from--Bain & Co or Bain Capital? Completely different companies.

This. And within Bain Capital - Bain Venture Partners or Bain Private Equity?

"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen."

Maybe you could just ask your question on the board - that is, after all, the point of the board, and there a shitload of people on here (myself included) who have been through the Bain interview process, even if they work somewhere else.

One of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.

I was mainly after more info about the actual culture at the firm, the perks/benefits, how quickly you get exposure and to what types of projects, what locations are good/what ones are developing and so on. There is plenty of info on the recruitment process but I wanted some inside info on what its really like to work there as I'm considering options at the moment.

yeah but why should that be private when it could be left here for the rare few who know how to use the search function

Try asking alumni from your school. You can find that by searching Bain's career website or linkedin. Probably a better idea than asking strangers whom you can't even verify are actually from Bain.

Anonymous.

Yah, what he said.

Unless the ulterior motive is to figure out Bain's recruiting interview scorecard / what case interviewers were asked this year + last year. Ahem ahem.
