Looking to switch into consulting

Read so many different threads in here on consultancy and it's been super useful.

28 (M) with 5+ years in project management. I've been bouncing around jobs and worked my way up the corp ladder relatively quickly. Currently a project portfolio manager at a national retailer and I've realised how much I hate it. I don't really know where my career is headed so thought to go into consultancy to gain exposure to different industries and exit after 2-3 years into a hopeful plethora of good opportunities,

Been weighing up pros and cons of Consultancy & Banking and think I'd want to lean more into consultancy targeting MBB. Delusional optimism - I genuinely believe there's nothing I can't do so why not go for the best.

I think the main question I have is - if I were to pivot into strategy consultancy at one of the big three, what would my title/comp be? Unsure if I would be going in at Junior level or Associate level.
