Based on the most helpful WSO content, MBB firms (McKinsey, Bain, and BCG) do hire international students, but the process can vary depending on the region and visa requirements. For F-1 visa holders in the U.S., MBB firms are known to sponsor candidates, but it's essential to confirm specifics with each firm as policies can change.

Additionally, McKinsey has explicitly stated that they prefer candidates to complete their sophomore internships before applying for junior internships, emphasizing bringing their "whole and best self" to the process. This suggests that gaining relevant experience early on is crucial for international students aiming to secure roles at MBB.

If you're a sophomore at a target school, focus on building a strong resume with academic excellence, leadership roles, and relevant internships. Also, keep an eye on early deadlines, as MBB firms have been moving them forward in recent years.

I think they will continue to hire, but can move you to a different country after 2 years once F1 expires instead of filing for H1. That can be home country or one that’s more flexible (Canada, UK, Australia, EU, etc.). Alternatively, can maybe sponsor MBA and u get more student visa after coming back again. This is just rumors from my MBB, idk specifics. Also am not intl so idk exactly how this work
