MBB satellite office vs OW GMC NYC

Hi Guys,

What's your opinion on post-undergrad offers from satellite office of MBB (think like minneapolis) vs OW GMC (specifically healthcare practice) in NYC, especially around exit opportunities? I would like to transition to VC or PE down the road. Thank you!

Thanks for all your advice so far!

So geography-wise, I don't want to live in the regional city, it's a no-brainer to me vs NYC.

My concern is basically what some of you have echoed, that it's OW GMC, and specifically healthcare (which is my b/g), rather than the more prestigious OW FS. One way I was trying to think about this is, do you guys think OW healthcare in NYC would offer good opportunities for a healthcare-focused VC or PE fund, vs a generalist coming out of MBB satellite office?

And I guess for buyside in general, every seems to be saying MBB satellite office wins out?
