Depends on the firm.

BCG is very selective in who gets second round interviews so you have good chances.

Bain casts a wider net for the second round so it's hard to gauge how close you are to getting the offer.

McK casts a wide net and is also extremely selective after the second round.

At the larger offices, they usually have 7-10 interns a summer (usually a few more offers than that since not everyone accepts)

 

This is false. My friend was an intern at McKinsey over the summer and attends Wharton. I remember him saying there were around five, at least.

Odds are not high. Think less than 25%, could be much less, but no greater than that. The overall offeree rate is like 1%, which is lower than FT numbers

 

Summer intern numbers are several times lower than FT numbers, with a comparable # of applicants, so it's insanely competitive. McK had 5 summer BA's from my school last year, and took ~20 full-time. Good luck.
