MBB Summer Start Dates

What are the general start dates for MBB summer internships (undergrads)?

I'm studying abroad at Oxford and term does not end until June 15th, meaning I would probably miss the training week if internships start in the beginning of June. Are they typically (in)flexible about these situations, and should I wait until I get an offer (provided that I do...) to tell them about start date conflicts?

I go to a target school in the US, and would most likely be going for NY or SF offices. I suppose I could try for the London office because the days match up better, but does anyone know if it's harder/easier?

Has anyone experienced this? What do students from quarter school systems (Stanford) do?

I've seen two start dates, one just after Memorial Day, one in mid-June, with the internship running for 10 weeks, and one group ending 2 weeks before the other. This is for MBAs. You'd have to get back quickly from Oxford, but don't think it'd be a dealbreaker to be a couple days late if you were a strong enough candidate. Summer interns in consulting don't do the same level of training as FT hires, at least what I've heard/seen.
