MBB vs. Capital One BA
Hello! I have two great offers and am having trouble deciding what to do full-time after graduation. Currently interning in MBB right now and on track to get a return offer full-time. Also have an offer for a business analyst role at Capital One. Both pay roughly the same. I've heard WLB is much better at Capital One, which is the main appeal for me. In terms of exit opportunities (ideally into strategy or tech with good hours), would I be limiting myself by choosing Capital One?
I'm fully aware that MBB is more prestigious, but I'm very drawn to the WLB of Capital One over MBB and questioning whether it's worth leaving consulting vs trying to stick it out for a few years.

If you're confident about prioritizing WLB and are okay with potentially narrower exit options, Capital One is a great choice. However, if you're uncertain about your long-term goals or want to maximize career flexibility, sticking with MBB for a few years could be worth the grind.

Sounds like youve answered your question then
Please take MBB
Used to work at capital one and knew some BA people. The hours were ridiculously low, a few of them literally left because they weren’t getting enough reps / wanted to work more.
Super helpful, thank you
Sure, the pay may be relatively equal right out of college. Sure won’t be that way across your whole career. I would expect better, not such short-sighted analysis from an MBB intern
MBB and it's not even close. You shouldn't be focused on work-life balance this early in your career
Offers probably look similar today, where you are and your comp in 5 years are different universes
