McKinsey "Keep in Touch" Program??

i just heard back from McKinsey for a summer internship interview, and didn't get to the next round
I go to a non target, with pretty strong referrals to the firm, and got this email from a Mck recruiter saying "Again, we are still very excited about your candidacy for full-time recruiting and we would like to enroll you in our Keep In Touch program. This program is for a select number of candidates who we would like to stay close to over the upcoming months. You will receive and invitation to enroll in this program within the next couple of weeks."
does this program actually hold any weight when it comes to recruiting? is it something sent out to everyone? if anyone has any info that'd be great
I can attest not everybody gets it, since my letter mentioned nothing about that program. I have no idea if it carries any weight, though.
