McKinsey Private Equity & Principle Investor? Specialist Path?
Any one heard anything on this group? Or heard about the specialist path?
Seems like they are hiring for industry specific analyst roles. Curious if anyone had experience in this or have heard about the career path/exit ops from this role.
Hey WhtsXL, I'm here to break the silence...any of these links help you?:
More suggestions...
Hope that helps.
Lots of growth in PE due diligence work for all of MBB, and both McK and BCG looking to grow their practices with specialists. I would imagine it helps craft a story for PE exits if/ when you look to do that. In terms of this being a long-term, sustainable practice (vs. being a generalist at McK), it is probably not the best place to be.
Lots of DDs. This sounds like a normal BA or Associate role that's aligned to the PEPI practice, which means you could do projects outside of the practice. Exits would be the same as for any other BA or Associate, but with more of a PE network.
