Odds of breaking into consulting from a non-target school
I am a senior from a non-target school currently applying to various consulting firms. I have above a 3.9 GPA, a high amount of campus involvement/leadership positions, and internship experience. Though I feel qualified for an analyst/entry-level role at a consulting firm, I'm afraid my school name puts me at a disadvantage in the screening process. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I have been networking and have made connections at BCG and Accenture. Do you have further suggestions on firms to apply to?
Network, Network and Network. If you are just applying online then yes you are at a disadvantage. With that being said there is always a small chance that you get will get a call from just applying online, but don't expect it to be from a top firm.
The odds are 622 to 1 against you
