Offer Comparison: Big4 (EY/KPMG) vs Prophet vs Simon Kucher

I'm a junior who's in the recruiting process for consulting roles, but unfortunately I struggled to get interviews at a lot of the top top firms, and based on some conversations I've had, I think it's based on the lack of really impressive/bigger companies on my resume. I also think I slacked a bit on the networking, even though I go to a target/semi-target school and have a solid gpa.

With that said, I was wondering what the advice might be strictly from an internship perspective to put me in the best position to re-recruit next fall. I have offers from KPMG advisory, EY FSO advisory, and Prophet. I know I should prioritize the work that's most interesting to me, so I'd lean toward Prophet, but I'm honestly willing to sacrifice a summer a bit to put myself in the best position since big 4 is bigger (I'd lean toward EY among the two), but I also feel like sometimes consultants look down on advisory/Big 4 roles.

I also just finished final rounds at Simon Kucher and feel pretty solid about those, so if that changes anything I'd also appreciate advice (pretty sure that'd be the clear cut decision at that point right?). A friend of mine was telling me it might be worth my while to re-recruit for tech (Amazon/Microsoft/etc), because it can sometimes be easier to get a big name there, but I feel like consultants would prefer someone with more direct consulting experience.

Hopefully that's not too scrambled, but I'd appreciate any advice!

Yeah absolutely- I think between the two fields (advisory vs consulting) I would definitely prefer the Prophet work. Do you think the two would have major differences in terms of recruiting for MBB/top general consulting firms next year?

I think I prefer marketing to the implementation/regulation work I'd be doing at Big 4, definitely, but I'd prefer to move into more general strategy work in the future, ideally with some exposure to ops. You think Big 4 advisory would be better than Simon Kucher for MBB recruiting?

Damn that's a surprise to me... how big do you think that difference would be? I feel like the work at SK would be closer to real strategy consulting work. Do you think recruiting for big name tech would be better than either as well?
