Oliver Wyman Summer 2024 - London, UK

I’m just very confused as I applied to Oliver Wyman back in mid November way before the deadline. Ever since my application submitted, it only ever said “applied” under the “application status” bit.
I checked pretty much every week since December and the position was still available. Early January it started saying “position is no longer available” so I had assumed I was rejected.
However, someone that works at Oliver Wyman had told me that Oliver Wyman is not rolling basis so they’ll be reviewing applications and inviting people at the end of January/early February. This seems a little late although I know BCG and McKinsey recruit for summer at this time.
I’m just confused. Idk if they stopped accepting applications but are now reviewing them or if they actually filled the position up.
Same with Deloitte S&O (although this is in Ireland). I applied for their summer business consulting position 2 days after it had opened. It has now been over a month since applying and haven’t receive anything. I know they sift through possibly thousands but I’m also not sure if it’s meant to take this long?
I don’t mind waiting but would have wished for updates as I don’t want to keep my hopes up if I’ve been rejected.
I’ve had a look at the Bristol tracker and it seems to be blank for Oliver Wyman. Doesn’t say whether offers have been released or not or whether they’re still deciding on who to invite to interview.
Pretty sure OW are still reviewing applications. Most of the consulting internship deadlines are non-rolling. From my understanding, think the only consulting firms in London that have started inviting for interviews are EY-Parthenon, Baringa and Roland Berger
Oh thank you! That makes sense. And yes EY have gotten back to me. It’s such a long process I just want to know now 😂
