Private Equity Advisory - FP&A Consulting
Reposting this because I accidentally put it in the PE forums
I've come across a few boutique "PE Advisory" consulting firms. Essentially, these firms come in to provide CFO services (aka FP&A) to companies recently acquired by PE funds. I know that A&M has a group that, I believe, does something similar (PEPI), but I can't find much discussion elsewhere.
Would this kind of work just be considered a glorified FP&A role or is there more to it than that. Like better exit ops?
