Rookie mistakes

I will be starting work at a MBB next summer. I haven't done any type of consulting internship. Starting with sell weekend and into my first month or two, can anyone offer advice on how to not look like a total rookie?

What are the big mistakes everyone makes? (i.e. - when freshmen walk around campus wearing their lanyard w/ dorm room keys around their necks for the first week of school)

Thanks.

Hmmm. Biggest mistake I made was not asking enough questions and not being annoying enough.

Learn as much as you can. It's your job- you're an analyst. If you were working in a quant analytics group, my advice would be "Finish your project." For banking and trading, I think the standard advice is "Don't f*** up", which isn't all that helpful. Perhaps a better piece of advice is, "If you don't understand something, ask them to clarify" and "check your work."
