Should I reach out to Headhunters (Life Science PhD Applying for First Consulting Position)
I am applying specifically for biopharma/MedTech consulting positions at all firms I can find that offer this position in my location. Is it worth reaching out to consulting headhunters to get an offer? If so, how can I get in contact with a consulting headhunter?
I'm assuming you mean like a position at a management consulting firm (i.e., BCG)? If so, I would reach out to the people in charge of recruiting for that office you are looking for (usually have that info on their website and if not, look for a senior in that office that focuses on projects in the space you have a specialty for) and then use the email template of the firm to reach out to them for a call/coffee.
