Side Job for Management Consultants

Is it common for consultants to leverage their skills & know-how to as a side job during the weekends for example?

I think it depends on which firm you're working for right? I imagine it may be the case for MBB but not for Tier 2
No. There is no reason to believe hours will on average be any different between MBB and T2 for the same project type
Hours do vary however by (1) what type of work you're doing and (2) the team you're working for
