Superday Results Deadline passed with no news: speculation thread!
Hi all, I had a Consulting superday in NYC this Saturday morning. The firm said they'd let us know by end of day Monday. It's Tuesday.. what's going on?? Please help me speculate. Be creative!
It's called ghosting...unfortunately.
Smh why would they ghost? Gotta find out one way or another right? Do you think there's any possibility of a waitlist?
All companies do this ... usually they wait until the recruiting process is completely over until they send a rejection letter. They do this so they can fill up the spot in case anyone rejects their offer. Some companies are more courteous and reject you upfront instead of make you play the waiting game.
Only company I know of that does Saturday superdays is OW (unless it's some super boutique consulting firm). FWIW, nobody I know at my school who went to the OW superday (I'm a senior at a target) has heard back either yet, as of Tuesday night
