The most valuable certificates for enhancing career in Management Consulting (MBB, BIG 4)

Hi, fellow WSO monkeys,

I am currently working as a Consultant (for two years) in Management Consulting department in one of Big 4 companies in a Central European country. I am planning to go on an MBA in few years but prior to that I would like to build my CV by passing certificates which would give me the most benefit with enhancing my career in management consulting and standing out among my peers.

So, can you please give me your experience and opinion on usefulness of certificates like PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, Prince 2, etc., for an advancement in a career in (generalist) Management Consulting?

Is there any benefit for (generalist) Management Consulting career in taking courses in tech field, i.e. CS50, AWS, EITCA, etc. or it is better to leave it to developers?
