Thoughts on Altman Solon
What are peoples' thoughts on Altman Solon? I know that they have expanded rapidly, and the last thread on them was a bit old. The name does seem to keep coming up, so does anyone have any insights on the work, culture, comp, etc.?
Pretty strong in TMT (comparable to T2 in the space) but most of the work is telecom DDs so WLB can be intense. Comp is also similar to T2/MBB apparently.
Culture is really great, analyst base this year is $100k so comparable to MBB/T2. Work definitely skews telecom (lots of fiber and data center diligences) but the firm is focused on expanding its tech & media practices
Do you think that’s gonna get raised again given BCG raise to 110k?
Base this year was 95k I think, but I'm not sure if they are going to bump again or not.
