Too late to get into consulting?

Hi all,

I wanted to see if it is too late for someone like me to get into consulting. I just finished up my junior fall quarter at Northwestern, and I've recently made the switch from being a math major (wanted to go to grad school for math) to economics. My Northwestern GPA is a 3.81, and I transferred to the school from WashU in St. Louis after my freshman year, where my GPA was a 4.0.

My expected graduation under my current degree track (Econ major w/math minor) is June 2024, however, if I decide to double major in econ and math, or do econ with a certificate in financial econ from Kellogg, then I'd finish in December 2024. Are there any viable paths for me to get into consulting at this point? Would pursuing an MBA be a good idea?
