What is the difference between a M&A Consultant vs Corporate Finance Consultant

I have been researching Finance Advisory firms for the past few days. I have been reading several sites. Some say corporate finance and M&A are the same thing. Others say they are different. Can some please help answer this question. Here is the question again "What is the difference between a M&A Consultant vs corporate finance Consultant"

They can mean the same thing but M&A is a specific term that relates to 2 kind of operations. M&A means mergers and acquisitions (and divestitures). Corporate finance can also mean restructurings, project finance, valuation and other advisory roles.

Corporate finance is a wider term that is also used in non-finance industries (in treasury, FP&A and business development departments of industrial or services companies).
