Prior to Kraft and 3G he worked at Goldman Sachs and Onex. He will become one of the youngest CFOs in the history of the fortune 500. A company that large has access to some of the best finance talent in the world. Congrats to him for earning that role.

If you read 3G's philosophy, it's a bare-bone, cut every unnecessary penny, cheapen all products mentality. Upon the takeover of BKW, one of the senior management complained at the generous size of the Whopper, etc.
Great for shareholders/investors, not so great for consumers. As such, I've stopped frequenting Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Plenty of alternatives.
It's no surprise Unilever rejected their takeoffer attempt.
He was also in Forbes 30 Under 30: a truly brilliant finance mind.

If you look around LinkedIn, there are other younger gents with very high-level positions at Kraft. Just an observation - they are usually Brazilian names, so I assume they have some tie to 3G. I thought I read somewhere that they want younger people in those roles for experience/exposure.
You're saying they place them there and then bring them back to 3g after they acquire experience?
That would be speculating. It was just an observation.
