Are the majority of M&A deals value destructive?
(As listed in the title) Interested to hear your thoughts whether or not the majority of deals for strategic buyers just ends up destroying value rather than ever creating
Why would there be hundreds of M&A deals every year if it only destroyed value lol
Synergies don’t exist I suppose
Majority of large cap m&a deals are value destructive and mainly consist of dumb management tying to increase their own pay which in many cases is tied to EBITDA and not underlying share price
