Boss talk: is it Real or Not ?

So I came across this post on Wall Streeter blog

Is this real or not ? Looking for WSO opinions.

Note: Don't read if you're easily offended and have applied your makeup on your pretty little face this morning. Stuff is pretty similar to what PUA is to "relationship building" or Roissy in D.C.

**"The World is full of ass*oles and THEY RULE the world. -Max Cantor maxim #1 **

If you don't know how to bring the fight home to those ass*oles, you're an ass yourself. -Max Cantor maxim #2

You might as well go into a ditch and feel sorry for yourself.

If you knew how to lead you wouldn't have a boss. -Max Cantor maxim #3

The reason you have a boss is because you are inadequate to lead.

You are ALWAYS replaceable to your boss-Max Cantor maxim #4
Your skillset is. Your portfolio is. Your entire background is. Everything about you is easily, if not practically, reproduced and replaced. But, but I'm a scientist and I won four awards. Doesn't matter ! **You should end your "love" relationship with your boss before he does it.- Max Cantor maxim #5**What that means is he/she becomes inadequate in the relationship first. Even if you like/love your boss understand the liking is only temporary. Boss-underling relationships are not unlike love "amorous" relationships in that they have courtship, honeymoon, plateau and falling out phases.

When your boss drains your energy, he/she becomes a major liability in your life.- Max Cantor maxim #6

Your boss is there to make him/herself happy, not to make you happy. -Max Cantor maxim #7
To your boss, you're a means to an end.

Bosses, not unlike drug addicts, are "high" on their own control. -Max Cantor maxim #8

Bosses do not see the world like you do. They live in their own world. They are "high" on their own supply of control. You've never had that high until you've become your own boss. You've never had that high until you've had applause cascading all over you, praise, acclaims, ovations and eulogies.

The worst thing a person can do is put a boss on a pedestal.
Don't do it.-Max Cantor maxim #9

Every boss has his insecurities. Your job is to discover and cultivate them. -Max Cantor maxim #10

I'm sure this is something you're seen and read before. A quick note here: if your boss likes alcohol, for example, she is an alcoholic. That's a weakness, not an insecurity. Intelligent people for the most part are aware of their weaknesses and try to stay clear of them. Insecurities, on the other hand, are less obvious to those that have them. An example of insecurity is the fear of being late, or the fear of interpreting a simple thing like an Income Statement. Your boss may not even be aware of it."
