Career Advice - APAC (Big 4 FDD transition)

Hi all,

I'm currently an FDD consultant on track to make senior. Im thinking of joining a mid tier (RSM, Pitcher partners, BDO) as a senior analyst in their M&A practice.

Would this be a good move in terms of career and earnings trajectory? My goals are to work at a boutique M&A, corporate development team, Private credit possibly.

The main issues I have are the brand dilution of going to a mid tier but at the cost of having more direct experience. I'veseen some good exits at my Big4 but wondering if switching to the mid tiera s a career launchpad makes sense.

Any thoughts appreciated!
