CFA for Corp Dev

Hello,

I work as an analyst in Corp dev at a tier 2 accounting firm. I took up the CFA right out of college in lieu of getting an MBA. I recently failed level 3 for the second time and I’m now reassessing my plans. I’ve been told CFA isn’t all that relevant for Corp dev. My firm is encouraging me to get certifications in Alteryx. Should I hold off on pursuing the CFA and focus my efforts on other certifications? To other Corp dev professionals, do you feel getting more proficient with tools like Alteryx is the better path?
