Corporate Development and Transaction Services or Controllers?

Hey guys, I have two job offers i'm trying to decide between by Saturday

One is a transaction services position with a Big 4 that would be in a major US city. It pays more and has better benefits. I also think it would be good exposure to M&A transactions and the role would have more variation based upon different projects/clients/etc.

The controllers role is with a BB, and i'd be working on the IB team within the group. The salary is lower, but with cost of living I think it would be about equal to the other role. My main reason I'm considering this role is I feel like if I go to the Big 4 firm right away, it would be harder to move back into financial services unless I went to grad school (which I am not opposed to whatsoever). However, I am concerned about the realistic opportunities I would have after my time in controllers, and it would be much harder to be a "top" performer in that group than the former.
