Corporate Finance Grad Compensation
Hi,
First time poster. I've noticed some useful threads on sharing 2011/2012 compensation in capital markets for analysts/ associates. All the numbers seem pretty consistent (all high).
However, I'm a lot less clear on the average for corporate finance grads. I know it would depend largely on industry, role, program, region, etc. but I'm still interested in hearing others who have recently graduated (2010/11/12) who have entered corporate finance, their comp, and maybe briefly their role/ program.
Thanks
Grad: 2012
Role: Rotation Program (working towards CFA) in Canada

CF is 100% dependant on company and division. Most companies operate off of a paygrade scale as well.
I would say (pending city) $40k to 50K for someone right out of college and starting his first year of work is a realistic range.
Grad: 2008 Role: Rotation Program Company: F500 Tech (Bay Area) 1st Year Base: 70 1st Year All In: 100 (depends on performance and ranged in my class from 85-100; combination of cash bonus & stock)
Grad: 2011 Role: Rotation Program Company: Renewable Energy (Texas) 1st Year Base: 61k 1 Year All In: anywhere from 70-80k
Looking at employment stats for my school the salary range for those in CF (i'm fairly sure all of them did FLDP type programs) was 52.500-62,000 with a median of 59,000. I'll be starting at a salary about right in the middle of that range with an expected all in first year of 65-70.
Undergrad: 2011 May Role: Rotation Program Company: Global F200 (mostly manufacturing) 1st Year Base: 55k 1st Year All In: 60k~
