On average - audit in summer will be pretty boring.

What they said. I've been in Big 4 audit a while, and would trade the name to go work at Uncle Tony's Boiler Room. I do admire the drive to challenge yourself and blaze your own trail, for that reason alone I think you're better served in finance.

 

Energy trading really leaves your options open, plus it can be a ton of fun. Those seats can be pretty hard to come by, and if you can get into one now, you'll be well served in the future if you're looking to do the same at a bigger firm, or even do energy banking, etc.
