Does this place sound like a corp advisory shop?

Hey guys.

I've managed to secure an internship out of sophomore with a small boutique, but I'm having some doubts. On their website, this place looked like a proper IB advisory/M&A advisory shop. However when I went for the interview and talked with the senior partner, he explained the firm a bit more for me.

From what it sounds like, they have more in common with financial broking rather than corp advisory. They lend capital to medium sized businesses as a "non bank entity" and advise them on how to use it etc. However, he also made sure I understood that they also do corporate advisory for the clients "that ask us". Right now they're in the middle of a restructuring, and also helped a company acquire another very recently. The transactions listed on their website are very impressive.

So my main concern is that these guys aren't a proper corporate finance firm, but just financial brokers that happen to do some corporate finance work for clients who ask them.

What do you guys think? Could I still put them as a corp advisory shop on my resume (as that's how they've advertised themselves)? Do you think I should even take the internship?
