ECM to Corp Dev. at a Tech Firm?
Hey All,
Hope everyone is having a great day. I knoww it's not the most popular entry-way but I was wondering if ECM at all would be a good way to get into Corp Dev. at a technology firm. A quick background on me: I've been passionate about the tech space for 6 years, have run my own blog for a few years/developed investment theses on public tech companies and have worked in ECM for about a year. I was wondering if any of this experience/passion would be valuable in getting a role at a top technology firm within corporate dev. Or would my limited M&A experience be a detriment to my viability as a candidate?
Thank you very much in advance. I'd be more than willing to come up with a potential public buyout/target for the company as well.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this!
