FP&A to Corp Strat (w/M&A consulting background)
Looking to get advice: I'm considering an FP&A job offer at a mid-level tech company after 3.5 years in consulting, primarily in M&A consulting (post-merger integration, operational due diligence, operational separation, etc), but ultimately want to go into a traditional Corporate Strategy. I know it's doable, but was hoping for some advice.
I don't have an MBA and I would be the second hire of the FP&A team for the role I'm considering. It sounds like more of a Finance and Strategy role versus just traditional FP&A.
Thanks!
