FP&A to Debt Capital Market Possible?

Hello guys, first time posting on this forum. I'm currently a first year FP&A analyst at a tech start up and am actively looking to transition out of FP&A as I found my day to day work to be quite boring and repetitive. I do want to be in a revenue generating/ front office role. After reading people's comments, views online and various job descriptions on LinkedIn, CorpDev seems to be one of the better exit ops that FP&A folks can go to. While I was browsing on LinkedIn, I found that a lot of the DCM job postings also listed FP&A as one of the preferred exp. So I'm just wondering if anyone here had actually successfully made move from FP&A to DCM? Or is it even possible at all? Wasn't able to find anything in regards to this online.

Looking forward to hear your inputs.

Thanks!
