Future of the business world- CS or finance?

Monkeys You know, AI is so damn powerful that McKinsey said a lot of jobs will be replaced by AI or robots in 2030. Lawyers, accountants and financial analysts etc will be replaced Being a person working in finance world ,whats your opinion in it? BTw i am considering to take master degree. Is it better to be CS related but not finance in order not to be replaced?

That's just half the story you posted. The article further stated that AI will also lead to generation of new jobs that we are unable to imagine right now and it makes sense.

Some one has to build, develop and maintain the damn bots.

Also, between finance and engineering it depends on your interest. I did engineering first and now am doing finance and frankly I find finance more interesting. But my CS background has given me the skills to pick up a programming language and apply it to finance much more easily than a person who does not have a programming background.

Another thing to consider is being from engineering it's easier to go into finance than the other way round.

Do what you want to truly learn about. Not just in class but on your own and develop the required skills. You'll get a job irrespective of the future.

PS: That's just what I believe.
